Payments
We accept cash, debit, and credit cards AT CHECK IN . Credit card payments are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Retainer Fees AKA "Deposits"
A retainer fee may be required to secure your appointment. Retainer fees are applied toward the scheduled service and are subject to our cancellation, rescheduling, and late-arrival policies.

Same-Day Appointments
Same-day appointment availability is subject to change. We strongly recommend calling the salon before booking a same-day appointment to confirm availability. If you book without calling and we are unable to accommodate the appointment, you may reschedule or receive a refund of the retainer fee, less a 10% processing fee.

Scheduling Conflicts
Service times are estimates and may vary. If we are running behind, we will make every effort to contact you. If the adjusted appointment time does not work for you, you may reschedule or receive a refund of your retainer fee.

Late Arrivals
Clients arriving 15 minutes or more late may have their appointment canceled and will forfeit their retainer fee. Please contact the salon as soon as possible if you expect to be late.

Additional Guests
Please do not bring additional guests or children who are not receiving a service. Clients should arrive alone for their appointments unless otherwise approved.

Health & Illness
Please reschedule if you are experiencing fever, coughing, sneezing, symptoms of a contagious illness, or otherwise feel unwell. We may request that a mask be worn when appropriate. If symptoms become apparent during the appointment, the service may be discontinued without a refund.

Hair Preparation
If you are arriving with your hair already shampooed, conditioned, and blow-dried, please do not apply oils, grease, or leave-in products before your appointment. These products can create excess slip and affect the finished style.

Add-On Services
All desired add-ons should be selected when booking your appointment. Last-minute additions may not be accommodated due to scheduling.

Service Time
Appointment durations are estimates and are subject to change depending on hair length, density, condition, style complexity, and other factors.

Comfort During Your Service
Please communicate with your stylist during your appointment. If your style feels too tight, uncomfortable, or you have concerns about the service, tell your stylist immediately so we have an opportunity to address the issue.

Refund Policy
All services are non-refundable. We want clients to be satisfied with their service, so concerns should be communicated during the appointment whenever possible.

Service Concerns
If there is an issue with your completed service, please contact Masusu Kinks within 3 days so we can review the concern and determine whether a correction or adjustment is appropriate.
